Xauror stands for ex-Auror Moody. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody appears for the first time in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He is asked by Dumbledore to become the latest in a long line of Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers. Mad-Eye was an Auror, a.k.a. Dark Wizard catcher for the Ministry of Magic. He is known for his over-suspicious nature and ability to bring in wanted Dark Wizards alive. The site owner and programmer who used to be a forensic chemist and can tend to be as moody as Mad-Eye thought xauror was the prefect name for a site dedicated to safety for all ages of Harry Potter fans.

Every user starts off as a 1st Year Student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Through a special practical classes battling system, students will progress through the years at Hogwarts having the opportunity to battle several familiar monsters and some you have never seen.
